Most beautiful cat breeds
Russian blue

The stunning Russian blue is bred in three colours – blue (a silvery-grey colour the breed gets its name from), black and white. Its most defining features are its vivid green, almond-shaped eyes and large, pointed ears. The Russian blue is famed for its "aristocratic" expression.
Maine Coon

These cuddly and affectionate cats are known as "gentle giants", due to their large size and calm temperament. The tail of a Maine Coon is a standout feature and can be as long as – or even longer than – its body. It uses it like a blanket, wrapping it around itself for extra insulation to stay warm.
Ragdoll

Ragdoll cats have beautiful blue eyes and are bred in a variety of unique colours: seal, blue, chocolate, lilac, red and cream. They have similar markings to the Siamese and have an adorable turned-up nose, which gives them an elegant appearance.
Bengal

The Bengal cat is easily recognised thanks to its beautiful spotted or marbled coat. With these markings, they could be confused with a wild cat – but they have the affectionate nature of a domestic cat, with a playful and outgoing personality.
Abyssinian

One of the most popular cat breeds around the world, the Abyssinian is a lithe, muscular cat with a short, fine, glossy coat. Its striking looks are paired with a gentle temperament.
Birman

With striking blue eyes, the Birman is a stunning semi-longhaired cat, with its white body and feet offering a sharp contrast to the darker colouring around their face, ears, tail and legs. They come in around 20 different colours, so there's plenty of choice if you're a fan of a Birman!
Persian

The Persian cat is one of the oldest breeds in the world. With a long, flowing coat and sweet face with round copper, green or blue eyes, it is undoubtedly eye-catching. Its short, sturdy body is set off with a round head and the iconic snub nose.
Norwegian forest cat

The robust Norwegian Forest Cat developed over hundreds of years in harsh, cold climates and has been referenced in Viking legend and mythology. Its water-resistant coat evolved to help it survive Scandinavian winters. It could be easily confused with a Maine Coon, thanks to its fabulous coat, but its triangle-shaped head sets it apart.
