If you're running the London Marathon, crossing the finishing line is just the beginning. But fear not – once you've done the hard bit, there are plenty of rewards to benefit from in the capital, and even some pre-run freebies to claim.
Whether you've earned a great marathon time or heaved your tired body over the finish line many hours after everyone else, you can flash your medal and grab these marathon freebies. You've earned it.
What you can get for free if you're running the London marathon
Free ice baths, massage guns and Joe & The Juice refreshments at Gymshark
At Gymshark Regent Street, reward your hard work with Lumi ice baths, Hyperice massage guns and refreshments from Joe & The Juice. Head down between 1-6pm. Friends and family of runners are also welcome. Find out more here.
Free pizza at Franco Manca
Whether you’re running the London, Manchester, Leeds or Exeter Marathons, you can grab a free pizza from Franco Manca. Show your finisher’s medal at any participating Franco Manca to claim your freebie on Sunday 27 April and Monday 28 April in London and Manchester, and Sunday 11 May and Monday 12 May in Leeds and Exeter. Free trains and public transport
All transport on the London Underground, Overground, DLR and buses will be free for runners on race day until 6.30pm.
Free bath bomb and solid massage oil bar at Lush
Lush will be giving away its Cold Water Soother Epsom salt cube and After magnesium solid massage oil bar to marathon runners, as well as a voucher for 10 per cent discount at Lush Spa. The Lush spas taking part will be Covent Garden, Paddington Station, Waterloo Station and Victoria Station, and freebies can be claimed between Sunday 27 April and Wednesday 30 April. Free cream cheese bagel at It’s Bagels
For the entire week after the marathon, you can claim a free cream cheese bagel if you show your medal at It’s Bagels in Primrose Hill.
Free swim sessions at Brockwell Lido and Park Road Leisure
From now until Sunday 28 April, London Marathon participants can claim free sessions at Brockwell Lido and Park Road Leisure. You’ll just need to show your race confirmation information to gain access. Find out more here.

Free burgers at MeatLiquor
MeatLiquor is offering a free burger to marathon runners on race day from any of its participating stores. W1 Soho is the closest to the finish line, but there are also restaurants in Bloomsbury, Islington and Shoreditch, as well as other areas of London further afield.
Free boat trip down the river
City Cruises is offering free boat trips down the River Thames to those with a medal, and 30 per cent is offered to family and friends using the code marathon30.
Free glass of English sparkling wine at the Ivy
The Ivy is offering a celebratory glass of The Ivy Cuvée to any London Marathon participants. You’ll just need to flash your medal to gain access. Find out more here.

Free Greek plate at The Real Greek
If you show your medal, you can get a free Greek plate or vegan Greek plate (worth about £12) at any The Real Greek restaurant around the UK. The offer is available on Sunday 27 April and Monday 28 April.
Free after-party at Red Bull HQ with Runna
The running coaching app Runna is hosting a post-race celebration at Red Bull HQ with drinks and snacks available for runners. Sign up for a free ticket here.
Free yoga at Triyoga
Triyoga is offering marathon finishers a free class right up until the end of May. Book online, using the code 2025Marathon.
Free pasta at Pastaio
For a pre-run carb-load on Saturday 26 April, 50 lucky marathon runners will receive a free bowl of pasta from this Soho pasta spot from 3.35-5.45pm. Purport is taking over Pastaio to offer these freebies. Find out more here.
Free burger and drink at Bill’s
If you’re running (or volunteering) at either the London Marathon or the Manchester Marathon, free burgers and drinks are in store at Bill’s. On Sunday 27 April and Monday 28 April, just show your medal or volunteer pass at any London or Manchester branches of Bill’s. Find out more here.
Free SushiDog
If you’re a sushi fan, head to any SushiDog store with your medal on Sunday to grab a free SushiDog, Sushi Bowl or Sushi Salad. The Soho branch is just a 10-minute walk from the finish line, but there are plenty of other locations too.
Free burger at Maxwell’s
If you’re running the London Marathon or mini marathon, Maxwell’s in Covent Garden is offering complimentary Big Max Smashes – two smashed beef patties, melted American cheese, lettuce, diced onions and special sauce in a brioche bun. Find out more here.
