If you're heading to the capital this weekend to take part in the London Marathon, you'll be in good company. More than 56,000 runners are expected to take part in this year's race – and among those are some well-known faces.

Which celebrities are running the London Marathon?
Britain's most celebrated Olympian, Sir Jason Kenny, will be running the London Marathon 2025. He has won seven gold medals competing in cycling.
Comedian and presenter Romesh Ranganathan will be running after his London Marathon debut last year. Speaking to Runners World, Ranganathan revealed he took six and a half hours to complete it last year, but is aiming for a sub-five finish this year.
Comedian and The Masked Singer host Joel Dommett will be running. At last year's marathon, he dressed in a piranha costume, although he hasn't confirmed whether he'll be dressing up again this time.

X Factor winner and singer Alexandra Burke will be hoping that she doesn't get 'broken heels' as she will also be taking part.

Broadcaster and DJ Adele Roberts holds the Guinness World Record for being the fastest woman with a stoma to complete the London Marathon. She's now attempting to become the fastest woman with a stoma to complete the 'big six' world marathon majors in the space of eight months.

Former England cricketers Sir Andrew Strauss and Sir Alastair Cook will be running for the charity set up following the death of Strauss' wife Ruth.
Footballer-turned-coach Jack Wilshere will be running the marathon, as well as former England captain John Terry.
Radio presenter and DJ Chris Evans is a keen marathon runner and has even released a training book titled 119 Days to Go: How to train for and smash your first marathon. This year he will be running his tenth London Marathon.

Fitness guru (and Dragon's Den star) Joe Wicks will be running this year. On his Instagram, he shared that he ran the marathon in 2015 and it was 'one of the most painful experiences' he's ever had and that he promised himself he'd 'never do it again'. However this year, he will be running with three other applicants to raise money for his newly-launched charity The Body Coach Foundation.
Kelly Brook and her husband Jeremy Parisi, who competed in the latest series of BBC One's Celebrity Race Across The World, will be running – here's hoping that their adventures help with their time. Another star of the show, McFly drummer Harry Judd, will also be running.
