The BBC's hit comedy-drama Outlaws is back for a third season and with all the episodes available on BBCi player we anticipate a lot of binge watching.
The series is written by Bristolian Stephen Merchant and features a group of strangers brought together by community service.
Where is Outlaws filmed?
The comedy drama Outlaws is predominantly filmed in Bristol. Fans of the city will be able to recognise many of the Bristol's famous landmarks, such as the Clifton Suspension Bridge.
Stephen said: "I was born and raised in Bristol. The show is very much a love letter to Bristol. I love the fact we get to feature different pockets of the city, and in the instance of series three, we are in a city farm. I love showcasing the city. It's very visual, it's full of street art, and it's very hilly which adds interesting depths to the show."
Outlaws filming locations
In series three, the outlaws have moved on from the community centre (filmed at Sea Mills Community Centre in Bristol) that featured in the first two series and are now doing their time at Bristol City Farm, aka St Werburghs City Farm in real life. This farm, which is a charity, is open to the public so you can see where the outlaws discussed their predicament and even visit the pesky pig who nearly revealed the dead body...
This season, the nearby seaside town of Weston-super-Mere gets a staring role; Ben runs his own cafe there. In episode one we see Ben and his new girlfriend roller skating near the Grand Pier.
In the first two series, affluent Clifton was a major player thanks to Gabby's rich lifestyle, funded by her father. Her home was filmed at a private property on Apsley Road in Clifton. However, by series three she has fallen out with her father and home is now Greg's flat.
The police station exterior shots were taken at Pennywell Project, St Jude’s.
The Bottle Yard Studios is where many of the interior shots were filmed, including Greg’s flat, Myrna’s flat, Ben’s flat, Halloran & Sons' factory offices, probation offices, police station interview rooms and a fertility clinic.
