Who is Fiona Bruce?
Fiona Bruce is a British newsreader, journalist and TV presenter. She is currently the presenter of BBC One's Question Time and Antiques Roadshow.

She was born on 25 April 1964.
Where did she grow up?
Fiona Bruce was born in what was then the State of Singapore, Malaysia. She was later educated at a primary school at The Wirral Peninsula, England, and the International School of Milan, Italy.
What was her first job?
After university, Fiona's first job was working at a management consultancy firm, but left after finding it dull. She then worked at various advertising agencies for a couple of years.
How did Fiona Bruce get into broadcasting?
Fiona met the then-editor of the BBC TV programme Panorama (Tim Gardman) at a wedding. According to an interview with BBC News, she persuaded him to interview her and ended up working as a researcher on the programme.
What has she presented?
Fiona Bruce presented various news programmes after moving from being a researcher on the BBC's Panorama. She presented BBC Breakfast News, Newsnight, Crimewatch and Panorama. In 1996, she was named the second presenter on the BBC Six O'Clock News. She has since moved to the BBC News at Ten – and was its first female presenter.
In 2019, she became the presenter of BBC One's Question Time. She also become the presenter of BBC One's Antiques Roadshow. She continues to present both programmes.
Fiona Bruce has also presented several documentaries for the BBC, including The Queen's Palaces in 2019. In 2009, she appeared on series six of Who Do You Think You Are?

Fiona Bruce has been married to Nigel Sharrocks since 1994. They met at an advertising agency they both worked at.

Fiona has two grown-up children from her marriage.
